  1. Don’t wear makeup every single day

It’s very commonly known that washing your hair every single day will strip your hair of its natural oils. Same thing goes with makeup. You don’t want to wear makeup or at least a full facet makeup every single day because it’s going to clog your pores and bring bacteria to the surface of your skin as well. Wear full facet makeup on special occasions like weddings and parties and go for something very light on a daily basis.

  1. Remove your makeup every night

Don’t ever go to sleep with your makeup on. When you sleep your skin cells regenerate and this is when your skin replenishes itself. So if you sleep with makeup on your skin cells can’t renew and you’re basically clogging your pores by sleeping in it. You’ll probably wake up with a couple of breakouts and it’s just all around a bad decision. So no matter how tired you are remove your makeup every single night.

  1. Exfoliate your skin once a week

If you have sensitive skin then don’t exfoliate more than once a week because that will be very harsh on your skin. Exfoliating makes your skin glow, it gets rid of any build ups on your face and it helps get rid of dead skin cells.

  1. Wear a sunblock

Age spots, wrinkles, dark spots and fine lines are things that nobody wants. And if you don’t wear an SPF on your skin then you’re more likely to get those things more quickly. You can get premature signs of aging. Wearing an SPF really helps prevent wrinkles, crows feet, laugh lines and forehead wrinkles. Reapply your sunblock throughout the day whenever it melts.

  1. Moisturize daily

When you wash your face it is important that you moisturize to lock in the moisture. Even if you have an oily skin don’t be afraid of moisturizing. You can go for an oil free moisturizer. It acts as a shield against dirt and pollution and without it you leave your skin vulnerable to germs and bacteria.

  1. Wear a face mask

Choosing the right mask will make your skin tight and hydrated. It will make your skin look clear and fresh by taking away all the dullness.

  1. Don’t go to the gym with makeup on

It’s pretty much the same thing as not sleeping with your makeup on. When you go to the gym presumably you sweat. So you have a mixture of sweat, oils, dirt, grease, bacteria and makeup on your face. All those things clog your pores. Clogged pores lead to dull skin and breakouts.
